What do you call someone who,

 tho they are miles away,

are so very close, 

who really listens, 

tries to protect you , 

and is interested in 

what is happening in your life?

Someone who,

 is Happy for you 

when things are going well, 

yet understanding and supportive, 

when things are bad?

What do you call someone who 

knows your deepest desires, 

and strongest fears.... 

yet would NEVER

 use them against you?

Someone with whom 

you can lose contact

 for long periods of time, 

yet when you talk again,

 it feels so refreshing, 

so right, 

almost as if no time

 had passed at all?

What do you call a person like that?

I call that person a TRUE FRIEND!
