Hello and Welcome

The poems listed below

are ones I wrote, 

and give an insight to my feelings.

I add to them often, 

so ....stop back often<smile>.

I am a "real" person

both on-line and off

I do not cyber, 

or play with the emotions of others

so please don't play with mine.

A few of the things I enjoy are:

working with HTML

  and computers,

Intellectual conversations 

with open minded people,

Cooking, Camping, Fishing, Dancing,

Long walks to no-where,

Candle light, Sunrises, and sunsets,

Thunder and lighting,

Travel, Laughter, 

 being "silly" at times, 

 and Quiet nights at home 

with that "someone special"

 I don't like :

Loud mean people,

as I refuse to argue or fight

it solves nothing and

 only serves to make a bad situation worse.

Nor do I like or approve

of those who use others

be it for personal, or financial gain.

While I can understand

those who wear "masks"

to protect themselves, 

I feel that "masks "

only serve to hide you 

from those who would help you 

as well as hurt you,

and have therefore opted to leave mine off.

I also have a real problem

understanding those

who have to put a monetary value 

on everything..

as I have found that

 the things that matter

most.. in my life

can not be bought or sold.

I do believe that all

relationships are founded on

 Honesty

respect

and trust,

and much like a 3 legged stool 

would be unstable and destined

to fail if one leg were broken

so too with a relationship where 

honesty, respect or trust 

is missing or lost.
