Broken & shattered I stand alone

softly releasing a heart felt moan

My self I had given so totally tis true

now that it's done

How could I be anything but blue?

Broken and shattered I stand alone

till on the wind I hear a gentle moan

and I know that I am NOT alone

For tho I have traveled far from you

still I feel your love

wrap around and warm me in the sun 

your gentle tears in the rain

Slowly the pain gives way

to a gentle calm inside

Tho broken and shattered I may be
